Participants will be provided with programme and coding manuals, an evaluation pack, training DVD and our online support.
Active participation, practice and involvement are expected. Participants will take lunch and breaks together as in the group.
Mellow Parenting can come and train a group of your staff on an "in-house" basis in your local area.
We ask that you have a maximum of 10 members of staff.
It is preferable that your group brings a mixture of skills i.e. group work, mental health, etc.
Mellow Parenting will provide:
- Two Trainers and our online support.
- All training equipment, including bags, training manuals and dvds Group and/or other activities material.
- Initial supervision of first group via local co-trainer.
- Practitioner's certificate of attendance at training.
- All Trainers travel and accommodation.
- Access to MP practitioner's newsletter and annual MP practitioners conference.
- Course administration.
- Course evaluation.
- Rates are negotiable if 2 or more training groups are commissioned.
Mellow Parenting requirements
We require one main person to act as the inhouse contact, and this person should provide:
- A comfortable well lit room seating no more than 12 people in a horseshoe layout with tables to the side of the room.
- Television, large white screen, video and dvd player, laptop and dataprojector, flipchart and pens.
- Catering: three days for 12 people consisting of tea/coffee on arrival, mid morning tea.coffee, lunch and afternoon tea, preferably with healthy options.
- Access to sink for group/activities.
- Names, professions, addresses and email contact for all prospective trainees.
- Full details of training venue and map of how to get there.
