  <description><![CDATA[I love having different ideas for parents, certainly holding back on when you introduce screen time helps.  My  boys designed and made their own 'time tokens'.  They used shrinky paper and made  them into fridge magnets.  Rather than having all pocket money for chores, they could choose a time token to keep screen time boundaried and  my purse, fuller for longer!  (old school).]]></description>

  <description><![CDATA[It’s great if you can make it free! Libraries are a superb resource . Charity shops often have toys and jigsaws, you can cut a picture into as many parts as your child’s age and then help them put it together again.
The recommendation for under 3s is no screen time and then no more than an hour a day thereafter. Best if you can watch with the children and talk about what they are seeing. It’s so tempting to ‘buy’ a bit of peace with a screen, but set limits for yourself and them!]]></description>
