Mellow Parenting is a Company ltd by Guarantee (No 349127) and Charitable Registration (SC037384).

We research, develop and implement parenting programmes for the more vulnerable families in society, with an international reach.

We deliver training in our programmes to individuals and staff groups throughout the UK, Europe and the rest of the World.

Information we collect

The personal information we collect from you may include your name, address, email address, phone number, IP address and information about the pages you have accessed on our website and when.  If you make a donation or make a purchase your credit card information is NOT held or stored by us.  This information is collected by our third-party payment processor (Paypal) who specialise in the secure online payment processing of credit/debit cards transactions.   The payment processor will not share your personal data, except to provide the necessary payment services to us.

How we use your information

We may use your personal information to:

  • Improve your browsing experience by personalising the website (please refer to our Cookie Policy for further information)
  • Enable your use of the website and its services
  • Create an account if you register with us
  • Keep a record of your relationship with us
  • Process a donation you have made
  • Process any purchase you may make

When you give us personal information, we take steps to ensure that its treated securely.  Any sensitive information (such as credit or debit card details) is encrypted and protected by SSL. When you are on such a secure page, a lock icon will appear on the bottom of web browsers such as Google Chrome.

Non-sensitive details (your email address etc.) are transmitted normally over the internet and this can never be guaranteed to be fully secure.  As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your information we make our best efforts to ensure its security on our systems. Where we have given (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our websites, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential.  We ask you not to share your password with anyone.

There is no charge for requesting that we provide you with details of the personal data that we hold.  We will provide this information within one month of you requesting the data.
